The Financial Times reports that Apple has scheduled a media event on Tuesday, January 26th next year. The event will probably be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, site of the company’s music-focused events held each fall in recent years.

“The company has rented a stage at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco for several days in late January, according to people familiar with the plans.

Apple is expected to use the venue to make a major product announcement on Tuesday, January 26th. Both YBCA and Apple declined to comment.”

It is unclear what the topic of next months media event will be, but it’s very easy to guess it could very well be the announcement of the long rumored Apple Tablet. It’s almost new year and January 26th is very close. Let’s cross our fingers and hope we will finally see this legendary device.
